About

Built by journalists. Made for organisations with something to say.

Wondercast is an independent media and editorial studio working across business, technology, policy and culture. We help organisations turn expertise and complex ideas into intelligent media that people want to watch, hear and share.

Our approach comes from the newsroom. We bring the same editorial judgement, precision and pace demanded by international broadcasting and journalism to every project — combining it with the creative thinking and production expertise needed to build distinctive media brands and formats.

The discipline of a newsroom. The focus of a studio.

Good media starts long before the cameras roll. It begins with understanding the audience, identifying what matters and finding the clearest, most compelling way to tell the story.

Wondercast works with clients from the earliest stages of an idea: developing editorial strategies, creating original formats, shaping interviews and narratives, and producing the finished work across film, video, podcasts and audio.

We deliberately operate as a focused studio. That means senior editorial involvement throughout the process, close collaboration with our clients and the flexibility to move quickly when the story demands it.

Experience that shapes the work.

Wondercast was founded by Benjamin Wilson, a journalist, producer and broadcaster with more than two decades of experience across international news, business and culture.

His career has included producing and presenting for SBS, Monocle and the UK’s Times Radio, alongside senior newsroom roles in British television. His work has ranged from breaking news and political interviews to business programming, documentaries and branded editorial projects for international organisations.

That experience informs how Wondercast works today: rigorous about the substance, exacting about the execution and always conscious of the audience on the other side of the screen.

We know what makes a story. And what makes people pay attention.

Audiences have more to watch, read and listen to than ever before. Simply publishing more content isn’t the answer.

We believe organisations should think more like media companies: developing recognisable formats, establishing an editorial point of view and making fewer, better things.

Wondercast exists to help them do it.

Turn expertise into media that matters.

Whether you’re developing a new series, launching a podcast or looking for a better way to communicate complex ideas, Wondercast brings editorial thinking and creative production together to make media that earns attention.
